Drumbeats inspire me to move / play without inhibitions. Looking forward to sharing the joys of drumming with fellow Torontonians. I have 3 drums (a frame drum, a small & a full size djembe), a Rindik (from Indonesia) and a Rubab (Persian guitar).
Taking Djembe drumming classes. No formal training but have been known to spontaneously start dancing to tribal beats!
I own multiple drums that I bring to the event.
Hyder, my name is Rod. I would appreciate it if you could contact me. I am involved in a free Djembe drumming circle. We need to advertise our event in order to find like-minded individuals who are interested in exploring African drumming. The plan is to meet every second or third Saturday in the month in the Weston area. My email is [masked]
Good Morning: We are holding a drum making workshop in Kilworthy this weekend July 13 or 14. The fee is $125.00 which includes the frame and hides. The venue is across from Sparrow lake. Please contact me at [masked] for more information
Hyder, it was nice to see you again at the High Park. Every time I am there, I experience wonderful fun and positive energy. ~ I post Celebrating Life event at your page, can you please feature this event. ~ In gratitude for your support ~
Assuming the rain stops, I'll be there but High Park is pretty big. Where specifically will you be?
Great idea Hyder.
Thanks for the welcome both at high park and here.
Hope to see you all soon.

Hello Hyder. Thanks for the welcome greeting! I'm sorry I was unable to attend the first Drum & Dance Circle event this past Sunday, but look forward to attending future events.
Thanks for organizing the circle Hyder. I had fun at it today. I hope that you will organize more in the future.
Thanks for the message Hyder! Yes I'm planning on coming out to the drum/dance session today with a friend. Look forward to meeting you!
Thanks very much, Hyder!
