Meet other local people interested in discussing ideas about the metaphysical.

As a matter of clarity Webster's tells us;
Metaphysics: the branch of philosophy that deals with first principles and seeks to explain the nature of being or reality (ontology) and of the origin and structure of the universe (cosmology): it is closely associated with the study of the nature of knowledge

We will be looking at the universal message of the truth of being through the works of the Masters and their followers.

As a starting point we are looking at Emmet Fox, and his book "The Sermon on The Mount". He studied the teachings of Jesus and offers these teachings from a non-esoteric viewpoint as a unverisal statement of the truth of being. Dr. Fox was very prolific and has several other titles that expand on his ideas.

Other paths might examine the principles of Buddihsm, a look at the Bhagavad Gita, the Upanishds, Ghandi's works, Lao-Tszu and the Tao De Ching, A Course In Miracles, in an effort to discover the universal experience that transcends all language.
