Puppies 4 breakfast

2500 Summer Street
Summer Street Studios (open field next to building)

Puppies for Breakfast, presented by Neue Creative, PolkaDotDogs, Modular Dog, Photobomb Photobooths, and PetTalk Magazine, is a morning dog festival that works to bring everything “dog” to one place for a few hours. Houston is a huge city with so much to offer for our furry friends and with the creative minds from Neue Creative, Modular Dog, this festival provides a time for your dog to come play, surrounded by many of Houston’s dog industry vendors, businesses, and creatives.

In addition, breakfast will be provided by some of Houston’s best food trucks and small restaurants. From breakfast tacos to kolaches, you’ll be able to purchase some great food to fill your belly. (food vendor list coming soon).

The event is FREE to the public and all we ask is that every attendee make a donation of any amount to help a local dog charity called Love Puppy Breath Rescue. Love Puppy Breath is doing some amazing work in the city and we hope to make a difference for this group through this event.

If you were referring to my post, I just wanted to apologize for any confusion and say that I wasn't being sarcastic. As multi-cultural as Houston has become, there are a LOT of people around town from places where canine is a somewhat routine part of "home cooking". Inevitably, some will venture onto the Meetup local event sites. I'm sure they'll get the gist of this group quickly. Just something to think about.

I don't have a dog yet, every now and then I consider rescuing one. Just wanted to say that. Otherwise, this group should really consider changing its name to, "Morning Puppies", or "AMDoggy", something like that. It's too easy to misconstrue!

Hi Gralin. If you decided you want a dog I have a lab / boxer mix I'm trying to rehome. I got her from the BARC animal shelter. She's a really sweet dog. She just doesn't get along with my small cocker spaniels. She's fine with other dogs. I'm planning on bringing her to this event. Or if you or anyone else is interested I can send pictures or meet up somewhere.

I can't right now, but I've mentioned her to a few friends. Good luck, she sounds like an ideal dog for me if I had a yard! Pics might do the trick.

I'm considering going to this event, it sounds like a lot of fun, but I'm not sure how the dog I don't even have yet will react to other unfamiliar dogs. She is very timid towards people but comes from a house with three other dogs. My friends dad passed away last Friday and he left 4 dogs, 2 are really young and I am taking one of them. They are all dachshunds and I'm not sure if they typically get along with other dogs or not. I don't want to freak the poor dog out with too much social interaction. I'm just worried about so many different things, but mostly the dog's well being. If anyone has any advice or tips I would love to hear them.
