Japan Festival will immerse you in the vibrant culture of this exotic country.
This free festival delivers mesmerizing stage entertainment such as taiko drumming, tea ceremonies, martial arts demonstrations, and more. There's always plenty of authentic Japanese food and beverages on hand, children's activities, and examples of Japanese flower arrangements and Bonsai trees.
The festival grounds are set in Hermann Park making for a pleasant and accessible event that will definitely spark or renew a love of all things Japanese.
The festival is free to the public and tickets for food and beverages are available at booths which are located at the festival.
Limited parking is available in and around Hermann Park and the Festival site.
In order to help alleviate the heavy traffic around Hermann Park, we highly encourage our visitors to park at the Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza parking lot.
Metro Light rail stop Rice U/Hermann Park is a convenient walk from the park.
