Nermine,
We are moving down there in August from Michigan. It looks like you have some great ideas. I like that there is a mix of adult activities and family activities. Hope we don't miss all the fun while here in MI. Look forward to some fun in the fall!

Hi Nermine! Great to meet you and great ideas! I wouldn't mind organizing a Sunset cruise (from Galveston/Kemah) this summer. If there's anyone interested....

We have a pre-schooler and an infant, so anything in which we can include them is preferrable. Galveston, space center, zoo, hermann park, hiking, etc. The museum of natural history would be great too.

My schedule is probably alot different than most people on here but if there is interest I would be willing to set up a meet up at the Museum district. A thursday early afternoon would be ideal to take advantage of the Fine Arts Museum free admission and also be able to have the IMAX as an option after walking around, not to mention the Contemporary Art museum is just a block away from the Fine Arts and has free admission on a regular basis.

I'd be willing to help organize, especially for events on the west side past B8. So far have discovered great parks in this area, tons of restaurants, Alamo Drafthouse, Chinatown & I'm sure there's more to discover.

i may be able to organize an outdoor adventure for the group, and perhaps invite people from other meet-up groups i belong to

Hey Nermine!

I've been talking to "J" since we're both from the same side of town (WESTSIDE!!!) and we've been tossing around some ideas that would be fun...

Paintball
Tour of the Forbidden Gardens
Nascar Motor Speedway Race Car Simulators
Aquarium (exhibit tour not restaurant)
Potluck Picinic in the Park (food, games, etc.)

I'd be willing to host, or co-host any of these activities!
