It's the Year of the Horse! The celebration this year will be held January 31 – February 2, at Disney California Adventure park! Each day, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., Paradise Gardens will come to life with a joyous tribute to the traditions and family celebrations of the Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese cultures.
Throughout the celebration, a Chinese dragon dance troupe, lion dancers and Vietnamese and Korean dance groups will join Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Chip ‘n’ Dale, Mulan and Mushu in Paradise Garden for the celebration. Guests will also have the chance to make their own paper lanterns, discover their Zodiac animals and more. And new this year will be the opportunity to take part in the tradition of writing wishes of good fortune and happiness to friends and family. Also available this year is a new, commemorative Happy Lunar New Year Celebration t-shirt. Guests may also purchase red envelopes featuring this artwork, that can be used for the Lunar New Year gift-giving tradition.
We will meet by the entrance to Paradise Gardens at Goofy's Sky School.
