This communication course is guaranteed to improve your communication immediately and for the rest of your life to come.
Learn how to have your most powerful and satisfying conversations ever!
At this meetup with psychotherapist Meriana Dinkova and guest presenter Yogi Ramadin, you will learn effective communication tools to improve the way you relate to yourself, as way as to the people you are in relationship with.
A lot of people avoid, or sabotage relationships because of having a hard time expressing what they want , or what is bothering them in a constructive way, until it is too late. By then they aren't able to communicate clearly and escalate into conflict, or leave.
Sometimes we date people, who are not very expressive, and also don't know how to 'open them up' and approach difficult subjects.
In dating, and especially in relationships that last more than one week, its common for tensions to rise, and for life's complexities add up. When these tensions pile up, they can be like wedges between our hearts that get in the way of our intimacy. With these simple approaches, you can magically turn resentment into trust and deepen your relationship in moments. This collaborative approach will have you and your date/ partner feeling sweeter, closer and more enthusiastic to enjoy each other.
You will learn how to:
-Make a Seductive Invitation
( considering the other person's needs as part of your request/ invitation - this can be a practice exercise)
-Create a safe, constructive Conversation
( invite with an intention to create more closeness, honor the conversation mode / climate / timing / pacing )
( acknowledge tension and state desire to be loving, follow up with taking a break or do whatever you agreed as how you would like to "be out of harmony together" - this can be a practice exercise )
-Get more of what you want
Since you will be feeling closer, we will also be giving you some tools to talk more about what you might like to enjoy in your relationship and create more possibility in your life.
Price: $20 on Meetup until 10pm on Sunday, June15th; $25 there after; $25-$35 at the door
We will also address the ways to communicate with yourself, since the relationship with self is the most important factor for successful relationships with others and for happiness in general. For a lot of people the relationship with self is the most abusive and dismissive they have. You will learn how to recognize , if your internal communication is working against you and how to turn it around
You will learn:
-Self Sabotage In Action - how we give away our power
(victim speech / attacking / defensive language and reinforcing flows we don't want)
-Discovering Cues Alarm bells when Self Sabotage is happening
( giving voice to cognitive dissonance / feelings of smallness etc )
-Speaking with Liberating Language
( stating something with words that empower and create a sense of possibility )
-Creating with Ease
( noticing / letting go of anxiety and putting our energy in flow towards what we are invoking / creating )
This workshop helps you gain greater access to your body wisdom and use your body's emotional intelligence to help create satisfying outcomes WITH EASE!
This workshop will be a mixture of introduction, experiential activities and Q/A.
