Divorce Care for Women Series is a free coffee meetup to help you cope with the stress of divorce both financially and emotionally.

I went through a divorce myself, and I know from experience what an impact divorce can have on a womens life. Consequently, I made my fair share of mistakes. Having learned my lessons the hard way, I made a promise to myself that no woman would ever  have to face this journey alone and suffer financially.

Divorce is an emotional and legally challenging experience for women. The financial effects of divorce on women are significant in many instances as well. Understanding the potential financial effects of divorce allows a woman the ability to plan better for the termination of her marriage.

We will discuss:

  1. planning your finances - from budget planning to discounts and cheap alternatives.
  2. learn to protect your credit score and what it means in your financial future.
  3. how to prevent making costly mistakes before your next mortgage.
  4. Feel confident in your budget and managing alone.
  5. Emotional and physical well-being tips from our licensed counsellor.

and we will have a licensed counselor giving helpful tips on dealing with the stress
