DivorceCare Meetup Topic is "Owners Manual"

  • Mar 14, 2013 · 6:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

We are here to help those who have experienced separation or divorce. Our facilitators have personally experienced a divorce and through attending a DivorceCare ministry have healed and want to help you start your healing. DivorceCare is both a seminar and a support group.

Whether you have been separated 1 day, or divorced for more than 25 years, this is a safe place to start your healing.

Here are just a few of the topics that we'll cover over the 14 sessions.

* What's happening to me?

* Facing my Anger, Loneliness

* Financial survival, Relationships

* Kidcare

Please come in on any week.The sessions are designed for you to start up whenever you need us. There is no need to wait until the beginning of a new season. Start now, you'll be glad that you did.

Come and discover help and healing with others who understand what you are experiencing.

Around 15-20 of us meet on Thursdays from 6:30- 8:30 pm at Crossroads Community Church located at 1341 Edgell Road in Framingham.

The DivorceCare material is based on a Christian perspective, though people of all faiths and no faith participate in this program.

DivorceCare is NOT a dating environment.

    My profile photo shows me, as I joined, with a cane from a visit at the Natick Collection Apple Store, when I was caught on one of their photo booth machines, starting over with computer purchases. My now-ex spouse actually caused me to be disabled and handicapped for close to a year, when he failed to take care of me after surgery. I use it to remind me of why I filed for divorce, but no longer require it. I did learn from the last session because I never realized there was a "reconciliation" chapter to the workbook, and beginning to get in the groove of attending this location, as well as the Acton location for healing.
