If you get antsy seeing problems go unfixed and want to help out across San Diego, see new parts of the city, learn about different communities and their needs, and meet new folks over a beer or cocktail -- this is the place! I'm trying to create a volunteer group that doesn't feel stuffy or preachy -- just somewhere that brings people together to do good work, learn more about what our communities need, and grab a drink afterwards. Possible Meetups could include painting a Habitat for Humanity house, reading to kids, helping set up a fundraiser, cleaning a canyon or anything else we come up with. You name it -- and we will do it!
