A lot have happened in the world of virtualization in recent years. On one hand you can choose to run a whole operating system on top of a host operating system, while on the other hand you can prefer to isolate guests from one another by using containers for each virtual environment.
So, what really lies behind these different approaches? What should you consider when deciding which virtualization environment is right for you and for your company? What are the trends that we can expect in the near future? How are the different vendors offerings evolve?
We will have the honor to host a panel of experts from Docker, VMware and ZeroVM (Rackspace) to answer these questions and many more. This panel will be moderated by Reza Malekzadeh (Cumulus Network).
It will also be a great opportunity to learn from this hot topic while meeting and networking with other people with similar interest. People from Cumulus Network, Drone.io, Rackspace, etc… will also be present.
Come join us on Tuesday March 4th, 2014 at Geekdom SF/Rackspace, 620 Folsom St #100 (Ground floor) San Francisco, CA 94107 at 6:00 PM.
