From: Erica
Sent on: Sunday, January 17, 2010 10:31 PM
Join us on Friday, January 29 in Washington DC for two screenings of documentary works-in-progress. Following the screening, the audience is invited to provide feedback to the filmmakers. This honest and constructive feedback is aimed at helping the filmmakers get to the next stage of completing and distributing the film. The films are:

BEFORE THE SHOW: A DANCE DOCUMENTARY (10 minutes)
by Erica and Jermaine Mountain
What are the elements of pursuing a successful career in professional dance? A perspective from Washington DC area choreographers and dancers.

YES WE DID: THE PEOPLE'S INAUGURATION (90 minute rough cut)
by Andre Dahlman and Brian Pascale
A look back at Barack Obama's historic inauguration through the eyes of some of the 1.8 million Americans who attended.

This program is sponsored by The Documentary Center at the George Washington University. Net proceeds from this screening will go to Partners in Health and its valuable work providing medical relief in Haiti.
