MDA Muscle Walk

The MDA Muscle Walk is a series of local walk events across the country held to pay tribute to and to raise funds for children and adults served by the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The walks are family-oriented gatherings that anyone can join — including children, adults, grandparents, students, corporate teams and more.

We will be giving out Doctor Who Swag bags to the top three people who raise the most money for this walk.

You're a blast, Simon. I hope to catch you again at the next event. I'll probably be the guy with the... purple hair. ;)

and for the record- am I right in thinking that my presence wasn't an issue? I was taught early on with my disability to always feel guilty around other disabled persons because I'm too well adapted. Working on not thinking like that these days, but it's hard.

So it's not just me! No joke, a few VIAtrans drivers have admitted to me in the past that they indeed give a lower priority to passengers if their trip isn't something purely disability related.

I was late (VIAtrans found out I needed to be there at 9 so they had the van go slow) but I did do the walk.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
