Here's a Dalek on holiday at a popular British location.

It appears he is pensively thinking wishful thoughts of nautical adventure as the seagulls fly overhead and the sounds of the waves lap against the sides of the fishing boats.

*****

What happens if the Daleks succeed in their plans of conquest? Obviously the less glamorous jobs would still have to get done.

This fellow looks none too happy about having to take out the trash and sweep the sidewalk.

*****

Not too sure if this one gets the point of the Renaissance Fair...

But he looks like he's having a good time, regardless.

*****

This one is clearly rethinking his decision to take that retail job at Harrod's right before Christmas.

The line of early-morning shoppers goes all around the block and even if he tried, he must realize that he cannot exterminate them all!

*****

Speaking of Christmas, these cheery Daleks are certainly getting into the spirit!

I think this one, however, may have overdone it.

*****

When the Doctor isn't available, some of his companions have turned to the inflatable Dalek (available from Frederick's of Skaros).

*****

Not many remember the Dalek invasions of the 60's and 70's.

If I recall these guys were big into The Allman Brothers, Jimi Hendrix, and K.C. and the Sunshine Band.

*****

Here's a Dalek who works for Marvel comics, which may explain why so many characters are currently getting exterminated.

I heard he may be working on a new book called "The Amazing Spider-Dalek."

*****

The rarely seen fabulously flamboyant gay Dalek

(Davros may have had some issues)

*****

A cheese and pasta Dalek!

These guys never made it past Gordon Ramsey.

The famous Dalek protest march of '66.

Some Daleks tried to integrate into Earth society with mixed results. Here we see a bookstore owned by a pair of enterprising Daleks.

Alas, all that was printed were the words "exterminate" in different fonts and cases, so success was fleeting.

*****

A decade later, Daleks would secretly mastermind the entire "disco" phenomenon. It is rumored that the Bee Gees were, in fact, Daleks using enhanced holographic disguises. This, of course, cannot be definitively proven as we are uncertain that the Bee Gees could 'get down' as well as the average Dalek.

Here we see a Dalek disco in full swing.

Some Daleks were even so bold and shameless as to sell clothing apparel to humans advertising their victory over Earth.

*****

This brightly lit flashing Dalek was discovered in a Las Vegas casino, filled with quarters, standing near a line of slot machines where unwary (and inebriated) guests were attempting to pull his blaster.

*****

Few are aware of this failed joint enterprise, or of the syrupy flaming carnage and berry-soaked bloodbath that ensued.

*****

Most Daleks take great pride in keeping themselves well-maintained and NEVER imbibe alcoholic beverages before 8 pm. Unfortunately not all Daleks follow this rule as these fellows have demonstrated...

Notice how they can barely roll along in a straight line, the very sloppy posture, and slurred laughter-filled cries of "EXSHTIRMUNATE!" Quite embarrasing for the humans being invaded here in Glastonbury and Davros had to send public apologies to the entire town.

You're welcome. biggrin

Just thought I'd liven up the place a little and maybe stimulate some conversation.

There will be more Daleks on the way! cool

"Do a little dance,
Make a little love,
Exterminate!
Exterminate!"

(actual KC and the Sunshine Band song lyrics as written and submitted by Davros. "Exterminate" was later changed, by studio executives, to "Get Down Tonight" shortly before the song hit the airwaves. Source cited: "VH-1: Behind the Music...Time Paradoxes. Also part of this series: "Echo and the Cybermen.")
