This is a group for fun, social NYC Physicians. If you want to network, have fun or relax this is the group for you. Doctors who would like to meet for brunch, lunch and dinner should contact each other.

Membership

You must post a picture of yourself and answer the questions to be approved. If you have a website or office information please feel free to include it in your profile. The questions aid in allowing people to get to know you better. You might live in the same neighborhood, work in similar fields or share alumni associations. Those with children can arrange play dates.

Answering the questions also helps to protect us from people joining who aren't physicians or who want to spam the group with information about their business/ products.

RSVP

If you invite your friends who are physicians please add them in your rsvp. Some venues are smaller and more intimate than others. If an event is posted for a health fair with free dinner and an open bar if 10 of us rsvp then only the 10 of us should appear that day. Please keep that in mind and be considerate.

If you rsvp yes and can no longer attend an event please change your rsvp to no. We are busy and when an emergency arises I do not expect anyone to log on to meetup and change an rsvp to no before handling the situation. However, I always ask for a contact number if you rsvp yes and I call everyone before an event to ensure they are coming.

Please do not rsvp yes without a contact number. Any yes rsvp without a contact number will not be honored.

If there is an event you will not be able to attend please rsvp no.

I want everyone to feel free to participate and add anything they find to the group. If I know of any free CME, health care forum, dinners, volunteer event or expose I will post it. I don't want this to turn into an advertising group so I am not going to post company names ... you shouldn't either.
