May General Meeting

Looking forward to seeing some new faces along with seasoned Docsters at our meeting for May. As always, folks are encouraged to bring excerpts of work in progress to share with the group on DVD, links or thumb drives. In addition to reviewing member's work, we'll probably show a brief excerpt from the work of the late Michael Glawogger ("Whores Glory", "Workingman's Death").

Also, there's been some discussion about members collaborating on a new project generated within the group---this sounds like a topic worthy of a larger conversation. Those of you who have not yet begun a project might welcome an opportunity to get one started. Bring your film ideas to the meeting and let's see if there's a worthy-but-manageable idea we could develop.

As always, we ask that attendees contribute $5 to underwrite the cost  of space and refreshments, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds (and no donation is too small).

See you Tuesday night!

I would like to connect with an experienced doc producer for a project I am trying to go forward with, but hitting roadblocks. The subject is a small museum in SF. Producer pro please contact me for details so we can talk. Thank you.

We really enjoyed meeting everyone! It was great to see pieces of people's work - and fun to participate in the whisper recording.

Hey, everyone! If I bring some of my sound recording equipment with me, would a few of you be willing to help me out with some whispering elements that I need for a film I'm working on? I'll also be happy to walk through the equipment and some of the recording techniques we sound nerds use in the field.

Looking forward to meeting everyone on Tuesday!
My husband and I are going to the world premiere of our first feature length documentary film in Sedona, AZ at the end of this month. We're interested in meeting other documentary filmmakers as we are planning our next film!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
