Kersey Valley Great Maize Adventure

How about a fun day out with the pups AND the family.  The Maize Adventure is a great family place, lots to do, and even better your pup can come too!!  The biggest attraction is the HUGE maize they have but they also have many things for the kids; Gem and Fossil Digs, Jumping Pillow, Pumpkin Patch and a train. And check out the Zip Line and Segway tours.

Maize Adventure is the perfect way for your family, school, home school or church group to experience a day of camaraderie and fun! We provide an entertaining yet educational atmosphere that celebrates fellowship while building traditional values.  Bring your pet on a leash any day we are open to share the great outdoors with you. We have a doggy bar and miles of pathways in the corn to walk your pets.   Check out their website for everything.

General admission is $10, that includes the Maize, Jumping Pillow and the Tram Train.  If you want to do more there are additional prices on their website.  There IS $5 parking, so if you think your pups would get along with each other than you can carpool.  If we can get 20 people going we may be able to qualify for a group discount, I may have to call ahead if we get enough so if you're thinking about going please RSVP early so I can get a head count.  I think this would be a fun activity to do.  We won't get a chance again until next fall.  Hope to see you all there.

DIRECTIONS.............Getting there can take up to an hour and half depending on where you are coming from.  Below are the directions according to their site.....DO NOT USE GPS!!!

Also, if you are interested we can set up a meetup point where we can all meet and "caravan" to Kersey Valley.  Will decide where as the date gets closer.

What a bummer that we were rained out! The Maize was closed but unfortunately this wasn't announced on their website until we had all met to travel there. Too bad. Hopefully we can schedule this activity for another day.

Hi everyone. Sorry for the late late post but I just found out that Kersey Valley Corn Maize has closed today due to the weather. They have just put a notice on their website. I will look to see if I can do a makeup weekends.

Laura you are correct. They don't open til noon. I was looking at the driving time based on raleigh. If we leave from mebane it would probably be about 45minutes. I will post caravan info a little later today in case we have any last minute people.

Doesn't the Maize adventure open at noon? The website shows last year's dates/times, however, I would assume the times are the same. Were you talking about meeting up at 10am for the caravan?
