Hi - I'm Hillary. My dog's name is Dino. He's a 6-yr-old Bullmastiff mix that I rescued this past summer. I try to socialize him as much as possible and he loves to walk, so this type of meet up is just what we're looking for!

What Hillary is saying about this Meetup Group

Dino and I were there on Saturday, but went to the wrong parking lot (we'd never been to the park before) and were aaaalllllllllll the way up the rocky, steep hill, I believe in parking lot C, 11:00a Saturday. Some nice bicyclists led us to the proper lot, but when we got there at 11:13, no one was around :( We had been displaced for almost a week having been evacuated from our home in Lincoln Park the previous Sunday because of the flooding. We were so looking forward to the meetup, especially since Dino had been cooped up in the Red Roof room all week while I was at work. We finally got back into our house Sunday and were so thrilled to be home. Dino basked in the sun and refused to come in the house - I can't blame him!!! The devastation in the neighborood is overwhelming but I cannot complain compared to what so many others lost. We really hope to see everyone at the next meetup and are sad that we missed you all this past Saturday. - Hillary & Dino (aka The Dinster)

Hillary, Hi. The meetup is at 9:30 if that helps at all. The participants basically come through my dog busines and not through Meeup, it would be too difficult to change the time. Hope you can make it. Let me know if you can and I'll get teh details to you.

Oh no. Please take the information sheet I send, prior to the WalkAbout, it has my mobile number so you can call me. The information sheet specifically steers you away from doing just what you did. i.e.: went to the wrong park. The park the Walkabout is in is not confusing in terms of parking lots. Such a shame, if you called me I could have directed you, you were not far. Tell Dino "next time"but take the information sheet. I look forward to meeting you both.
