Fort Funston Beachy Hike!

Let's get together for a Dog-A-Bunga Good Time at Fort Funston! We'll meet in the Parking Lot infront of the Hanglider Training Field (can't miss it look for all the Hangliders sitting in a field). From there we'll head down to the beach 1st so all or pups can attempt to Hang-10 in/on the Surf and Turf! We'll watch our furry beach besties chase and maybe even catch a few waves all while froliching on the beach! Hopefully not seriously Wiped-out yet; we'll then head onto the Main Trail to complete an easy/moderate hike with happy puppy tails wagging to and fro alongside us. While hiking our Pup Bffs will get tons of opprotunity's to meet, greet, and play with other pooches and humans along the way.

Fort Funston is completely off leash our 4 legged friends, and has a nice paved trail for us 2 legged types! Bathrooms (Honeybuckets) Available, Water faucets for both 2 and 4 legged hikers at start and middle of hike. As always bring additional water and/or a snack for both you and puppy if you feel it's needed.

** Reminder not to be a total Barney and Bogusly forget to pick up after your pups. In other words please remember poop bags and use them. Finally Dogs must be under strict voice control and come back when called. If your dog shows signs of agression please correct them or keep them on leash for the safety of everyone both dogs and humans plus all dogs and people we meet along the way. If you can't follow these rules you will be asked to leave.

So what are you waiting for? RSVP already so we can see you there!

Any concerns or Questions please e-mail Therese or Karen!!

Duke is also sick and the vet recommended keeping him indoors and not running around for this week. Sorry and I hope someone can take my spot

Theresa, can we car pool their? I have to pass though Oakland to get to the Bay Bridge anyway. I hate driving San Francisco unless needed.

Kat thanks for the heads up. When we checked things out a week ago it looked open. Going to have Karen double check tomorrow and let us you know.
