This is a group for you and your dog(s). Do you need a chance for you and your dog meet other people and dogs within the SF Bay Area? THEN this is your chance to get out there in a relaxed setting, meet new people, and get to play with your furry BFF(S) at the same time. We want our members to be comfortable whether it be a sit down meal, a walk through the park, a hike, a puppy play date, or a little of everything. This group is for you if you are single or married and have a dog(s) or just like people with dogs. Please no small children unless approved by the organizer 1st. We're always open to suggestions for activities within the SF, East Bay and surrounding areas and if you'd like to host an event, we welcome you to post an activity of your own.
Please know that we are not a teaching facility or licensed professionals. If your Dog shows signs of aggression; it is the Owners responsibility to take action to immediately correct their dog and remove them from the event if needed or requested. If bad behavior of either Human or K9 member goes unchanged you will be asked to leave both the event and the group upon the second occurrence. Any thing that happens to Dogs or Humans should be taken up between affected person(s) and dog owner(s) only. Doggy Days Group is NOT Responsible or Liable.
Your involvement is Vital to the Success of the Doggy Days Meetup Group! So you must sign up and attend at least 2 events every 6months but also check the Doggy Days Site at least Once a Month to remain and active member. Members who RSVP Yes to any Event and Fails to Show up without any notification(NO Show) will be asked to leave the group after the 3rd occurrence, this also applies to any member who doesn't attend at least 2 event's every 6months or check the Doggy Days site at least once a month. By not showing up to events you are wasting not only the time of the volunteers who Put together the Event, but you are also holding up the other active members and our dogs on the event. If a change in your RSVP is needed, please change it from YES to NO on the Event Page no later than 1 hour before the Event Starts or you can contact the Event Host via Text Message, E-mail, leave a message for them under Comments section on the event Page, or Contact one of the Group Organizers (we're here to help you as much as possible). Members are only counted as a "No Show" if the Event Host or a member of the Leadership team was not contacted an hour before the start of the event. ***FYI if you sign up through the Group Calendar this does not remove you from the RSVP List you still need to go to the Event and change your RSVP Status.***
As of Jan 1st 2015 there will be a Non-Refundable Mandatory $5 Annual Membership fee. This FEE is to help pay for the use of the Meetup up platform (annual meetup site cost averages $150 a year) and anything extras goes towards future events you can pay online or $5 in person to the group organizer and we'll mark you as paid. Please note that if you decide to "CHIP IN" this does NOT count towards the $5 annual membership fee.
