Let's hang out at Local 61, a drinking spot with character that's very involved in the community. Their website describes it as "a public house located at 61 Bergen St. in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn celebrating locally crafted food and the people who make it. UPDATE: I'm so sorry guys, but I completely forgot that I have a commitment for the next few Thursdays. Of course you're still welcome to head to 61 Local on Thursday the 12th - would anyone like to step up as organizer for that night? In addition/in the alternative, we can switch to either Tuesday the 10th or Friday the 13th (if you're not afraid of bad luck!) I've set up a poll so you can vote for either Tuesday or Friday if you like.
