Play with Wolves @ Howling Woods Farm

A $20 donation is required, I am limited to 40 people. Here is the website to get more info. http://www.howlingwoods.org/index.html. It is advised to bring some food with you such as hot dogs, chicken, beef cubes, only raw. And wear old clothes as well. We have an hour or a little more if you would like but the woman I spoke with said usually an hour is enough. If the weather calls for rain, I will cancel the night before so please check, thank you!

Grest experience; glad I did't miss it. I read the descrition and link to the site that said upfront it woulx be domestic wolves, wolfdog hybrids, and northern breeds. $20 donation was more then acceptable as other Wolf parks are $300+ and there you photo from behind fences! I found my fast 35, 50, and 85mm primes worked to isolate images from background without needing to use my 100mm Difocus control lens or either of my lens babies.

I agree with Harvey. Most of the animals look like full bred wolves. To be able to get that close with a camera was awesome for me. The price was excellent for one hour of up close and personal. Great job Linda! Thanks for setting this up. Also, got to meet some really nice people who love photography and nature as much as I do!

If I had to site a negative it would have been that the animals were not full breed wolves. Some of them had a definite dog look about them. other than that, for the price, to have access to wolf like animals, was a treat. I had a great experience and I plan to return with a different set of lenses, since I found out how close we were able to get. Kudos Linda!

sorry that I am the exception. I thought it was rather mediocre for the price they asked. For me it was boring. Maybe one of the reason is that I had 2 wonderful German Shepherds which I loved. Thanks Linda for arranging it but I give this meet a 2 star.

Another missed oppertunity, because I have to work.
Oh well, hubby and I are going to Longwood, have the days off, and already made the reservation for the Best Western 8 miles away. I think it will be a great way to celebrate my 34th Wedding Anniversary.
