Great. I was impressed how many people from DHF showed up to help spread the word of freethinking.

The new meeting space will improve our meetings; we can accommodate more people with fewer interruptions. This month we meandered into some vague spirituality and collective consciousness discussion with some new friends. Although this was a healthy discourse with good and intelligent people, it does seem that the term "Freethinkers" sometimes leads to contention-even a territoriality of sorts-as we redefine the boundaries of the group. Next month: Confronting the logical fallacy of the bald assertion.

It was wonderful to spend the late afternoon with a group of like minded people from a variety of towns in Maine. I especially appreciated the interaction with the group on future meetings and topics to be discussed. I felt right at home - where I should be on a cold wintry day. Thank you. Alice MacDonald Long

Couldn't have asked for a better parade (and a good lunch). Glad so many people joined us and there was a good reception from the folks along Main St.. Wonder what the theme will be for next year.

It is enjoyable to be with people who are open minded and accepting of other's opinions and beliefs. I think my favorite part is the participation in the discussion which is thoughtful and enlightening. I take away the discussion ideas and think about them more on my own which I find stimulating. It prompts me to think about my own beliefs and question them. Thanks to you all for being there today!

This was the biggest group I have seen yet. As usual, great group and got to see some faces I had not seen in a while (always a good thing.)

It looks like we may be making some good strides towards spreading awareness of who we are; and welcoming similar-thinking people to join us in being alert to how we can address and counter religious groups who adversely affect our lives.

It would be nice to expand our group. There is strength in numbers, and we could effect more change.

I think if you look at my thoughts on this meeting the answer to this question will be self evident. Thank you sooo much.

In regards to religion, it has been said that,"The common people believe, the wise people do not, and those that rule find it useful"?. I look forward to meeting and learning from as many Wise people as I can.
