Ryan Cragun's talk talk was interesting and informative. Statistics normally are fairly boring, but were presented well and he kept everything interesting and flowing. He digressed, but it was in a good way that added to the talk rather than detracting. It was nice that he handled everything in a semi-formal/informal way and allowed questions in the middle of the talk rather than a Q&A at the end. Answered the questions well and I felt that he did an excellent job!
Mr. Cragun presented the topics, let us choose, and his talk provided a preview of what his book had to offer. Its a method that made me want to read his work rather than strong-arming you in to buy the book if you want the whole story. Pity I have no room on my shelves or I would have gotten both books there. So glad that its available through Amazon for my Kindle.

Great talk by Ryan. Many good questions and a full house to boot. If all our guest speakers generate this response we'll have to get a bigger venue.

Thanks for all you did to make this happen, Doug. And yes, we need our own building so we can do this more often!
