Secular Coalition for Maine statement

The news of Edwina Rogers' departure from the Exec. Dir. position at the SCA will no doubt be the topic of much conversation in the secular community. As the details surrounding this situation are revealed we should remember that the goals and accomplishments of the member organizations are unchanged and our commitment to securing the political, legal and personal respect of our fellow citizens will continue to be our primary focus.
As Chair of the Secular Coalition for Maine, I want to be clear that our goals remain unchanged. We will continue to advocate for the principal of separation of church and state and work with those groups here who support that effort.
