Do you enjoy Art; whether beautiful, weird, wild or funky? How about a nice glass of wine or great craft beer with that? Sounds like a new member to me!

The group began meeting when the O'Neills  were selling their house last the spring ( a Real Estate Agent by day and an Artist by night) and  realized the house would be  "dressed up with no place to go " for 6 to 8 months I had one of those Ah hah moments and thought, "why not have a gallery for new artists?"  The house in Frederick had 4+ rooms on the main level with very minimal furniture and big lovely walls to display art.  The meetup group has brought together new Artists to show their work and an eclectic audience of friendly people to share a glass of wine and become an Art critic for an evening - or maybe even an Art collector!  We have events about every other month with different featured artists each time and a focus on wines from different countries or regions.  We have since held our meet ups in a variety of places including The Auburn Mansion, Guilford Mansion, and several right DT at Viniferous.  We are fortunate to have had Bob and Luke at Viniferous wines supply and even bartend for many of our events this past year. Everyone kicks in $20 each to cover the costs of the wine, cheese and other goodies  and the results have been fabulous! Great art, fun people and a great reason to pull out that little black dress, or your favorite jeans and T-Shirt with a message.

In October of 2014 Elisabeth Vismans took over as the new organizer. She is an Award-winning artist, an instructor, a life coach and above all a wine lover. She is a resident artist in the Griffin Art Center in Frederick, where you can find her in her studio upstairs in the Blue Elephant gallery.

Check out our event Calendar and join us for a fun get-together.  If you are an Artist looking for some free exposure - call (443-520-2033) or email any of us with questions or suggestions.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
