I love The Secret History by Donna Tartt. They try to recreate Bacchic rituals, throw a guy off a cliff, and that's only the beginning.
Coffee. Tea's nice every once in a while too, but coffee's a daily staple.
Lots of classics literature, mostly societal/romantic stuff, mixed in with the occasional biography of a writer here and there. So many writers were these awesomely off-kilter people, so I love hearing about their lives :)
Depends. If it's new, the touch, if it's really old, I do love that smell.
Hi, I'm Gaby, and I'll be starting as a Classics grad student at UW this fall. Originally, I'm from Michigan, and went to undergrad in Cleveland, so I'd love to meet some new people, especially others who like to read and discuss ideas!
