Are you slacking in your fitness program or thinking that you could push yourself harder if only you had someone to workout with? Do you live and/or work in Downtown Vancouver?
I am putting together a Meetup Group that is intended to bring together people looking for Workout Buddies. Whether you workout at a downtown gym or run outside on the Seawall, I can help you find someone to do it with.
First, I need some information from you:
- your fitness level (beginner, intermediate, advanced)
- typical place you workout (outside at English Bay, Steve Nash Gym, Fitness World, etc.)
- typical time available (early morning, lunch, after work.)
For example, here's mine:
- Intermediate/Advanced
- Steve Nash Gym downtown
- 12-1 weekdays
After, I get about 50 people to submit this information, I will compile it onto a free, online database so that you can find other people to work out with. I will then set-up Meetups so that everyone can introduce each other.
Why am I doing this? Because my own workouts are lagging - I am finding it tough to stay committed and focused on my own. I would like to find a group of people who will push me and hold me accountable on days I don't feel like going.
Don't struggle through another workout alone!
