Burlesque Life Drawing Comes to San Diego. Started in 2005 by artist and burlesque dancer Molly Crabapple, the concept is simple. Artist's draw glamorous burlesque dancers, compete in contests, and win wacky prizes. From it's humble Brooklyn beginnings, Dr. Sketchy's now has over 100 branches around the globe, including Hollywood, London, Rome, Tokyo, and Melbourne.
Now, Miss Lily and is bringing Dr. Sketchy's to San Diego. The monthly sessions will feature models such as burlesque babes, roller derby girls, and fetish models, along with contests, prizes and alcohol galore. 21 AND UP.
YOU BRING: Your sketchpad, your drawing implements, some cash for liquid inspiration. WE PROVIDE:Dames?Drinks?Drawing!
Dr. Sketchy's happens every 3rd Saturday of each month from 3-6PM at the Ruby Room in Hillcrest, 1271 University Ave. (http://www.myspace.com/therubyroomsd)
Admission $10.00.
