Welcome to our Stay At Home Parent Group

So I moved to the area last January 2008 and believe it or not it is very hard to find other stay at home moms. So I decided to start a group and see where it goes from there. Hopefully we will start to grow and have life long friendships not only for our children but for the moms too. This group is for Dracut, Lowell and the surrounding areas. This meet up group is for other stay at home parents with children newborn-preschool. If you are new to the area or have lived here for ever you should join this group. I am hoping to start a group that will bring families together with other families.
We can meet at a playground, library, go to the zoo, the park, bbq's, picnics, story time, arts and crafts or play games. We can even meet and play at my house or yours if the weather doesn't permit us to go outside. Basically if you have an idea that is good we will do it. This is a group thing, so any ideas just let me know as I am open to any and all suggestions.
We can also plan a "moms night out" where just us moms go out and have fun. We can even do scrapbooking for us moms and or dads while the kids play.
I believe that children should make friends to have for life. I think it is not only important for our children to have friends but the parents as well.
Any race, nationality,gender, shape or size is welcome. There is no discrimination here we love everyone.
