Converting your hacked-together box of wires and LEDs to a mass-manufacturable product is a tricky ordeal. How should you redesign it to minimize the final part count? What's the best way to reduce assembly time and labor costs? At high enough volume, even a $0.01 savings in cost per unit can begin to add up, so its always important that your designs are optimized for the manufacturing process.

On October 3rd, come learn about Design for Manufacturing and Assembly from Dragon's VP of Engineering, Bill Drislane. The meetup will be held at Bolt, and as before we'll have pizza, beer, learning, and socializing. See you all there!

Very valuable insight into modifying my design before I go into manufacturing.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
