Hey Everyone, I'm the team manager of DragonMax. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask away!
Do you have any physical condition (such as heart condition or pregnancy) that would turn a rare accidental cold water dip into a life-threatening disaster? Please explain
No physical conditions that I'm aware of.
Are you a swimmer or a non-swimmer? Do you have any fears of the open bay waters?
I do have some fear of the open waters, but am more confident because I wear my life jacket.
What experience level in dragon boating would you describe yourself? (describe in words or indicate years or months of experience)
I've helped organized Dragonboat races for 5 years, then I started racing in Year 2000.
What are your hopes, goals or expectations in joining this meetup group?
To share my enthusiasm of the sport.

I love the camaraderie of the team. And it's a great extended family to me. There's a mix of competitive and recreational paddlers. DragonMax welcomes and caters to all levels. Can't wait to see the progression of our team this year. I like how Coach Rodg works on different strengths each month and bring it all together before race day/weekend.

thanks for the info on transportation via AC Transit. The 51B goes out to the Marina...BTW, does the group have two practice sessions - 9 am -10:30 am AND 10:30 am - 12 noon on Saturdays? Just wanted to confirm from the last email I got from you it indicated these 2 times, but on this MeetUp calendar, it's only one. Thx. Lynn -

Sorry about the late reply, it's been a crazy travelling month for me. I live in Mountain View, and have a motorcycle. Makes travel a little more complicated for the evening practices. But I certainly look forward to coming in on a practice session soon, most likely on the 4th of July. -

Thanks Linda for the info...I was called in at the last minute for massage work...next Wed I will bring my gear with me ...the spa is in Albany....and leave from there.
