Pathfinder Society Meet-Up

You can find the list of scenarios for this event here: http://warhorn.net/dragons-lair-pfs/schedule/day.php  I update this list each week as soon as we have enough GMs volunteer to run tables.  If you don't see a scenario you like, email me and we'll get it on the schedule!

This is a weekly Pathfinder Society Meet-Up happening at Dragon's Lair Comics and Fantasy in Austin, Texas. We play at 7:00 PM every Monday!  It is open to all players, both new and experienced. We will running 4 tables each session, 5 if there's enough players for overflow.

If the event looks full, RSVP anyway.  We always have a few no-shows, so odds are we will be able to find you a spot at the tables.

Fun game. Enjoyed the party being imbalanced. Enjoyed the young man at our table making up all that fun random stuff. Engaging. Character dying (first scenario with him) was helpful. So, thanks to you all. :)

Last time I attended, I was told that I need to do more than RSVP here for an event. What else do i need to do?

You should see the link for the warhorn website above (http://warhorn.net/dr...) Create a login for that website, and you can reserve a seat at a table!

I may come, but I am still trying to complete my character before level 2. So, I have a couple questions:
Before I get to attached to my concept, can I use Archtypes for my class and as far as any feat, can I use them from other books? (I think I remember the rule being, whatever is beyond core, bring a book or an official copy.)

    So, please help me. :)

Right on most counts Eric! Archetypes can be added to a class at any time before (or the level of) the first ability they replace, details in the Guide to PFS Organised play. If it changes something you get at level 1 (skills, proficiencies, class abilities), you do have to choose it at level 1.

Cool. Well, I have finalized everything mechanically. Now just working on character details. That may take a few adventures or more to really get down.
Deoradhan is a human Ki Mystic of the Four Winds (a blend of Monk, Ki Mystic, and Monk of the Four Winds).
Nothing will change really with this character. So everything that has to be selected at level 1 is selected. I'm sure more will change in my mind as I get more experience, but that is just what he will become with feat selection and such.

The Penumbral Accords has a great table, we just need a rockin GM. Any takers sign up on Warhorn! This table is a lot of fun. (David is new to our group, but the other 5 play together regularly at DLAIR PFS)

Well, enjoy your vacation. I will try on Thursday, when I will be level 2 (if I survive tomorrow). ;)

I like the adventure possibility in the group I am in right now. Looks like all low level and I can't wait to see how it goes. I hope it stays the way it is, but it never does. ;)

I survived to level 4 after quite a few very close calls. ~grumbles something unintelligible about Earth Elementals and accordions~ Looking forward to Monday then I'll be off the grid until after September 10 (Vacation)

After working through two different race options and two different class options for two different characters, the pieces finally fell together and one set of options got scratched.

This leaves the one character option that I will now get the joy of playing. He is a human monk, but not the kind of monk you might envision. He will be a good addition to any party as a LG support character. I built him to be helpful and will be a lot of fun. I hope GMs and Players think so after I play a few levels and he becomes a consistent character.

He goes by the name Deoradhan. ;)

Kintelary, check this site http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety/about/additionalResources for the feats, archetypes, etc. that are legal for PFS play. And you are correct: you must have a book or watermarked pdf of the source to use items not in the core books.

Thanks. I read through it and nothing I have considered is off limits. I must definitely NOT be a powergamer. ;)
