Pathfinder ADVENTURE PATH RUN! ($5)

PATHFINDER ADVENTURE PATH RUN! Pay to Play is ($5 per player)! This is a trial run, if it succeeds we will eventually offer the full Adventure Path series on most Saturdays. It will take breaks for holidays and special occasions. GM for our first 6 Adventure Path Run's will be Milan Badzic! Thank you so much for GM'ing Milan! The first 6 Adventure Path Run Scenarios are the "Rise of the Runelords" starting with "Burnt Offerings"!

Pathfinder Society plays at Dragon's Lair Comics and Fantasy every Monday and Thursday! We're up to 6-7 tables playing and room for more! So come join in the fun!

You can find the list of scenarios for this event here: http://warhorn.net/dragons-lair-pfs/schedule/day.php I update this list each week as soon as we have enough GMs volunteer to run tables. If you don't see a scenario you like, email me and we'll get it on the schedule!

This is a weekly Pathfinder Society Meet-Up happening at Dragon's Lair Comics and Fantasy in Austin, Texas. We play at 7:00 PM every Monday and Thursday! It is open to all players, both new and experienced. We will running 6 tables each session, 7 if there's enough players for overflow.

If the event looks full, RSVP anyway. We always have a few no-shows, so odds are we will be able to find you a spot at the tables.

I knew I would have to wait for this evening to find out about tomorrow. I won't make it. Thanks. I hope you enjoy the game. In the future, I'd enjoy getting in on another go around (from level 1). Thanks.

Hello Jason! There are several differences. This is an ongoing campaign. The Adventure Path series is separated into 6 modules per story. So it takes weeks, months even, to get through one storyline. Right now the first chaper/module is about to wrap up and they're going to head into the 2nd chapter/module of "Rise of the Runelords!" - "The Skinsaw Murders". Past weeks Dragon's Lair has provided "Rise of the Runelord" miniatures and Dice sets as prizes. Any further description I'll leave up to the GM, Milan Badzic. They have passed the part in the story where a Level 2 character can join safely. As Milan said below, it's best if you bring a level 3 or 4 character. But I'll leave it up to Milan to say. If there is enough demand, we will open another Adventure Path table. We will need another GM to volunteer to run the entire story. 1-6 of "Rise of the Runelords". Thanks!

I signed up with Druid, but it is a placeholder and I may use the Wizard instead as I said, because it seems to be a lot better for the longer adventure day. Most society play has been very rushed and there is less working together and tends to be more rushing through the scenarios. I'll bring the 3rd/4th level version of my Wizard idea, yep, that's what I'll do. :)

Separate question: How many played last time?
Do you think it will be more or less likely that there will be two groups playing (one 1st book, one 2nd book?).

Yeah, I'm currently a level 1 (Thursday will be my 5th adventure in society, but I let my first character die - I say "let" to make myself feel better for throwing myself to the no mercy of the GM.) ;)
So, I am making two characters (Wizard and Druid, both only core rules plus web trait pdf and society guide).
I think I would like to play the Druid since it will be my favorite later, but the wizard will be much more useful to non

...non-society play. I may get killed in society with the wizard and I will have the Druid as another character. Hopefully, I will have them both, so I can stagger their tiers. Thanks again.

That's my concern. If this adventure path is a Pathfinder Society character option, then how will that affect playing Thursday/Monday?

I'd like to play either my Wizard or Druid, but both are 1st level.

Committing to all day Saturdays for 6 weeks or so is probably out of range for me, so I may have to stick to Thursdays and occasional Mondays.

If it is society play, can playing a character in one Saturday session add experience and paperwork with options to the character?

Anyway, thanks. Enjoy. I may or may not be able to commit to the entire day, but I'll know better around Thursday. If I am able, that will be one heck of an adventure. :)

Milan - gotcha... thanks. So, with that in mind, there may be another table starting with the previous adventure and going through 1-6? So, I should bring a level 1 and level 3rd (with 4th-5th planning in place). So far, I should be able to come this Saturday. I don't thing I have ever played a game that lasts all day. This will be an interesting experience for sure. Are you taking time off for lunch or dinner or is this a lock-in session? There are water fountains and bringing something to keep blood sugar stable and we should be good. But what is it normally like?

David - Sounds good, thanks :)

As far as I know, there is only my table currently. No, you cannot leave for food or drink, this is hardcore PF.... Just kidding, we take multiple breaks for food/drinks. You will have a chance to leave, get food and come back. If you ever need food or something to drink, just excuse your self and do what you need to do. So far, it has been going on from about 10-7, though we may go longer if the table wishes. I will be prepped for us to go until D-Lair closes if you guys are having enough fun.

    Hey guys

So im still new and trying to learn this stuff. For this event, how is it different from the normal monday night events? Do I need to do/know anything before I can attend, and can anyone just attend? I have a level 2 character.

GM here. Thank you to everyone who showed up on Saturday and I hope to see you again in future sessions!

I will be out of town for Labor day weekend which is why there is not a session set up. Enjoy your holiday weekend.

For the next session on the 7th, I will post an update here as soon as the warhorn is set up. Warhorn will be the list I look at for the players at my table, so be sure to sign up there.

Finally, for this next session, we will quickly conclude book 1 and start book 2, "The Skinsaw Murders". If you are playing, please bring a level 3 character. However, be ready to level up to 4, and possibly even 5. This means have feat, class, skill etc choices all picked out when you arrive so that we can quickly continue. If you are bringing a new character, it will be 20-point buy and 6000 gold (no more than half spent on 1 item). Please private message me on meetup if you have any questions.

I look forward to seeing you there!
