Join us for our first official Draw Something Day - July 25th, 2012!

Hang out with Friends - Meet New Artists - Play Draw Something!

We are super excited to be hosting our first Global Meetup! On July 25th, you'll have the chance to get together with other artists (and overly complicated stick figure doodlers like myself) in your town by organizing your own meetup!

We can't wait to see all the amazing and hilarious drawings that are created around the world, and hope you share your drawings, photos, and stories with us on Twitter #DrawSomethingDay!

For more info, be sure to follow us on our Facebook (facebook.com/playdrawsomething) where we'll be sharing more info and tips to make your meetup awesome.

Some helpful tips for getting started:

* Meet before the Meetup - Share your username in the comments field!

* Pick a place with good wifi - avoid a major fail!

* Remember a phone charger - avoid another major fail!

I totaled 480 photos at the event (well more than I estimated)
I filtered through them (one of my camera batteries died so the last 60 on it had a dim flash which made for some interesting shots) until I hit my quota (the rest Aug 1st) If anyone wants anything removed, please message me or comment on the photo. OMGPOP/Zynga have my express written permission to use any/all for whatever purpose forever and throughout the universe. Everyone else, feel free to borrow =)

I thought the event was alot of fun. Hats off the SYNGA as there was plenty of food and drink. It was fun to compete with the drawings that were projected. The shirt giveaways were great too. Hope thre is another event soon

Great night. Even more than I was expecting! I came all the way from CT to celebrate my friends birthday, and it was def worth it. (Linda and Lorraine are the best by the way)

Finally, I met Joseph and Linda crew for the first time. I just wished I wasn't drunk before the party started and conversed more. I was already wasted in another bar. Joseph is so cool and very respectable in person. Linda is the hottest crew I've ever met ( she gave me a shirt). I love her (no drunk talk here) Thank You all! Hope there will be a next time! Party starts at 7pm on Wednesday July 25th - just days away!

It's close to the B, D, F, M, J, Z train stations, and very walkable from the 6, Q, N and R trains. I suggest using http://maps.google.com to get directions.

Hey guys, we're closing in on the limit for this party - if you have friend(s) who you want to join in, please have them RSVP soon. We're going to be only allowing in RSVP'd folks at the door!
