Brimmington Festival

This time is Peckham always close to the heart of London. Drawing London on location will be part of Brimmington Festival , we had been invited to draw around this area with the challenge to produce drawings in this busy area of London, we will be meeting at 10 am at Peckham rye station on the 14th of June and at  the end of the day as usual, if the weather is on our side  we will meet at the Brimmington Park to show off your drawings  with a picnic bag .

Following on from this, on 28th of June  we will also be drawing at the festival to record this great event that brings all the community together at Brimmington Park every year.

Brimmington Festival[masked]th June 12 noon -6pm

 Drawing London on Location

The Stall

1At the stall we will have a table for 5 of our members who will take turns to make portraits of the people who visit our stall.

2 We will have a table where members of Drawing London on Location and the Urban sketchers will showcase their work

Find you drawing location at the Festival

3 During the festival members of the two groups will be capturing the festival in places where they most feel comfortable to draw and sketch and at the end of their adventure around the festival can display artwork at the stall, so make sure you bring with you lots of bulldog clips to hang up you work!

Looking forward to this great fun day at the park, hope to see you all .

    Hello everyone,
Recommended places by the Friends of Brimmington Park, before heading to the park you can stop at Franks bar in the Peckham car park - the views are amazing; and also Queens Coffee Bar at the Queens Rd end of Kings Grove at this place the community gather and the marvellous Caroline Gardens/Asylum Chapel.
And this is my phone [masked] I am not good giving directions, you can always text me, is a lot easier.
Don’t forget your picnic bag. 
