Meet in the booking hall of Tower Hill tube station at 10:45 am, Saturday 5th July to visit some of the maritime attractions moored along the Thames. From Tower Hill tube station we will take a short walk to St Catherine's Dock where we will find some historic ships to draw. At about 1.00 pm we will leave from there, walk across Tower Bridge and move onto draw water front scenes around the Hayes Galleria shopping centre and the, moored, World War II cruiser HMS Belfast before finally moving on to the full size, replica of Drake's ship the Golden Hinde. Conveniently this is right outside the pub we will be retiring to at 4.00 pm to look-over one another's drawings (The Old Thameside Inn, Clink Street). Please note we cannot book a table at this pub without paying but it is very large and you might be able to draw and drink at the tables outside.
