Announcing a new Meetup for Drawing London on Location!

What: The British Museum

When: Saturday, March 6,[masked]:00 AM

Where:
The British Museum
Great Russell St WC1B 3DG
London

The tricky thing in the British Museum is deciding what to draw: you could spend a morning just drawing weary tourists in the Great Court Cafes, but here's some unusual items to whet your appetite...
Samurai Armour - Room 93, The 12c Lewis Chessmen - Room 41, Aztec double headed serpent - Room 27, Parthenon Sculptures - Room 18, The Sutton Hoo Ship burial - Room 41, Mummy of Katebet - Room 63, Easter Island Statue -Room 21 or the Staffordshire Hoard (amazing treasure dating from 600 ad, discovered in a field last year) - Room 36.

Entry is free of charge. Meet in the Court Cafe in the North West corner of the Great Court (near the West stairs) on the ground floor at 11am, again for lunch break at 1.30 and if you can stay on for more drawing, at 4pm.

The nearest tubes are Tottenham Court Rd or Holborn (both 500 m)
