Classes are taught by Cristian De La Pena (34) professional art teacher and Director of the academy.

Cristian studied in the Art Students League and the Water Street Studio Brooklyn New York ( the last one consider one of the best ateliers in the world).

We have decide to create this group to gather like minded people who enjoy Classical Drawing and Painting.

Our Art studio is located near Canary Wharf. It has plenty of natural light and is a great quiet space to concentrate and work.
There is where we teach regular courses and lectures orientated to understand the technique and work of the Old Masters.

Classes philosophy

Our idea is to work individually with each student using an easy to follow structure that will make it easier to understand Drawing and Painting principles. we clearly demonstrate the ways in which to “see profoundly,” which will enable students to come up with a great full finish work that will truly exceed expectations.

Learning proper technique is a step by step process that can lead you to great results. Passing on this knowledge and process in a very caring and organized way to our students is essentially the value of The London Academy of Art teachings.

The courses will be done on a monthly basis with sessions either once or twice per week. Classes times and schedule can be found in our website.

The prices per person per monthly regular courses are £125 for classes of 4 hours long once per week.

Students and OAP get a 30% discount.

This includes the option to store their work and materials at the studio.

Also, quarterly we organize a student exhibition where general public will be able to appreciate and eventually buy the work of the artists.
We will also organize lectures in different topics organized weekly.
