Figure Drawing, Beginning and Intermediate (#6)

  • Mar 30, 2013 · 9:30 AM
  • This location is shown only to members

Drawing the nude human figure is the penultimate artistic exercise. This final part in a six-week class offers both beginners and intermediate students tips and techniques on how to draw the figure. Each week, you'll practice with a live model! Offered in a private NE Portland home, the class meets on Saturday mornings, from 9:30 am-12:30 pm, on Feb. 23 and March 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30. Cost is $90 for the full course + a portion of the modeling fee at each class (somewhere between $9-$20 per class, depending on the number of drawers). Or you can sign up for each class individually (see future meetups), at $20 per class + the modeling fee.

Students are continuing to soar, so impressed! And John was a great model, too!

The class was lots of fun and we worked hard! I am learning foreshortening and gesture drawing, also learning to measure for proper proportion. Am very happy.

Would love to attend but will be out of town performing at a Regional Theater One act competition.
