Demos, drinks and discussions about mobile development

DrinksOnTap is a social meetup for Boston area mobile developers (iPhone, Android and more). We are always looking for amazing demos from companies in the Boston mobile community.

Come meet for a drink and catch up on all the new mobile developments at our next DrinksOnTap event - Wednesday, November[masked] at Tavern in the Square [Porter Square] 6PM-9PM!

The first 50 drinks at Drinks on Tap will be sponsored by Singly. Singly connects apps to other apps by simplifying APIs and authenticated data exchange. Singly SDKs allows developers to easily connect (auth) people (users) to other apps and friends, and to share out across networks. Visit for more details.

Demos for the evening include:

Use your camera to bring eBook benefits to paper sources. With eHighlighter, you can transcribe quotes in just seconds. You can then review your highlights and notes in one organized, searchable place.

Currently featured in the new App Store Productivity collection, Kibits Collaboration is the app that works the way you do. Create private, secure collaboration rooms and share almost any type of media - files, photos, videos, links, locations, notes, and more - in real-time. Each Kibits Collaboration room includes integrated chat and task management, so you and your team can keep everything you need in one automatically-organized place.

Mobee is a mobile app that rewards you for reviewing businesses. We have over 1,000 missions located in and around Boston. Once a mission is selected all you have to do is answer a few questions about the experience you had there and we credit your account with points. Those points can be cashed in for Paypal transfers, gift cards, and prizes!

Discover new music from around the blogosphere with UberHype for Android. From indie genre to electronica, the UberHype app will help you find anything and everything that will tingle your musical taste buds. All the music here is tracked and aggregated by The Hype Machine platform whose goal is to empower independent voices that write about music.

Want to show off your Drinks on Tap appreciation? Pre-order a DoT tee-shirt here: with all proceeds to benefit Boston Partners in Education.

Be sure to spread the word: #DrinksOnTap and, see you there!

Hi all! It was great networking with everyone last night. For those currently developing their app I’d love to help promote it though my company PreApps. PreApps is the exclusive place to preview and rate mobile apps coming soon. It’s designed as a similar platform as DrinksOnTap whereby developers can promote their app coming soon and engage app user feedback. As apart of the Drinks On Tap meetup I’d be happy to provide promo codes to be featured for free. Shoot me an email at [masked] if you want more info!
