Beginning W. African Djembe Drumming Class

This is a 6-week introductory class that will focus on developing proper playing technique - getting your bass, tone, and slap sounding right! The djembe was made to soar and sing, and you'll learn more about how to do that and will also develop your listening skills, to play more confidently w/others (and in drum circles!). We'll learn traditional polyrhythms and also use rhythm exercises. $75 - VISA/Master/AmEx accepted. 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Drums are provided, please bring some water to drink.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
