Great show - really well paced with strong lead roles and interesting direction. Loved the physicality of the fight scenes.

how do i get work in uae in film and theatre

    June 14, 2013

    • Liz

First of all I need to say that there is very little paid work in the UAE for film and none for theatre. There are no professional theatre companies in Dubai and the amateur groups produce plays for enjoyment not for financial reward. The film industry in Dubai is growing but is still relatively small. You can try for work as an extra or possibly some commercial work through the following websites. Please note that I am not endorsing these, just giving you the info: http://castmeonline.c... http://mirandadavidso... Hope this helps :-) Liz

Hello Liz, i would really love to attend your next meetup but my saturdays is tired up. Can you please fix some meetup on fridays. What time will the play end? How much is the fee. If i get there around 10pm will i still meet the group?

    June 16, 2013

    • Liz

Hey Mark sorry you won't be able to make it. Generally I have found most people prefer Saturdays (partic Muslim members) but sure can try a Meetup on Fridays too going forward. The play will end around 10pm and it costs 80 AED (see above info). If you get there around 10pm I will probably be around but I cannot speak for the other group members I am afraid. I am happy to go for a drink after but that depends on interest :-)
