The Dublin Book Club and Social Meetup Group Pages
About Our Meetings
We typically meet at 6:00 pm on the second Sunday of every month to discuss books.
Meetings are typically held in the North part of Columbus (Dublin, Worthington, Clintonville).
Upon arrival, look for others with the book. We usually meet in small venues so it's not too hard to find us.
Approximately 15-20 people attend each book discussion.
Members must attend at least 2 book discussions annually.
On occasion, we'll put up purely social events with no book to read. Attendance at these is entirely optional.
About Our Books
We switch monthly between classics and contemporary works of fiction.
All members have the opportunity to suggest and vote for works of fiction.
If you suggest a book and it is selected, please make every effort to attend.
About Our Discussions
Our discussions are lively and lighthearted.
We frown upon confrontational exchanges. Everyone is free to respectfully disagree.
We are very open and friendly. However, we take harassment seriously. If you experience any unacceptable contact, please let an organizer know ASAP. Such behavior is not tolerated, and we have removed members in the past.
We look forward to meeting you, and welcome your suggestions on books, discussion locations, and ideas for social meetings!

About The Dublin Book Club and Social Meetup Group
We are a large book club with a small group feel. So don't let our membership number fool you. Many meetings range from 5-15 people. Currently, we meet at 6:00pm on the second Sunday of every month and we switch between contemporary and classic (15+ years) works of fiction. That said, we encourage members to vote for and suggest book selections.
All members should regularly check the polls (under the tab that says "More") to see what books are being considered for upcoming months. We typically try to put polls up a couple months in advance. Voting closes 30 days prior to a discussion date so people have some time to get the selected book. We ask you to refrain from voting in the polls if you know you will not be attending a discussion. Thanks!
Please take a look around the site and then let us know if you have any additional questions!
