Very hard to say - so many: Myles na gCopaleen, James Joyce, Edward Gorey, the Mac/O Grianna brothers of Donegal, Peter Beagle, Kate Roberts, Lewis Carroll, Nuala Ni Dhomhnaill, Chinua Achebe, Susan Cooper, Eoin Colfer, Douglas Adams, many more
Celtic language dictionaries - yes, I could just sit and read them, but rarely really do
anything, except not too fond of 10-volume "trilogies"

Love to read, esp. Irish lit. Am actually in the US, where I teach Irish & Welsh. Get to Ireland about 1xyr so might be able to attend v. sporadically. Meanwhile I'd just like to know what books are buzzing in Baile Átha Cliath & get some ideas.
