*** LOCATION CHANGE 28/2 ***
Sorry for the late change in venue but due to the popularity of the event and the lack of projection facilities in O' Neills, the meetup will now start at 6:15 on the first floor of the Academy Building on Pearse Street (opposite the Science Gallery) in what are now the offices of Synchronoss Dublin. There will be someone at the door to show you where to go and we will have beer.
We will have a presentation from Jonathan Ellis and then another presentation from a guest speaker. We will follow that by an open Q&A then drinks afterwards in O' Neills on Pearse Street. Hope you can all still make it.
*** UPDATE 26/2 ***
* The special guest speaker this time around will be none other than Jonathan Ellis, co-founder of DataStax and Project Chair of Apache Cassandra, Jonathan will be talking us through Cassandra 1.2 features and will be available to answer any questions you may have, it will be a great opportunity to find out where Cassandra is headed.

We will be hosting an informal Cassandra Users Meetup on the 1st Floor of the Academy Building on Pearse Street @6:15 on Tuesday the 5th of March, its just across the road from the science gallery. There will be free beer for those that arrive first!! Its an opportunity to share your experiences with C* or even to learn a bit about it if you are just starting to/interested in using it.
On the night we hope to have a domain expert present to answer any C* questions you may have, the finickier the better!
We will also have a mini-competition on the night and giving some lucky people free stuff.
