Audio and Family History as Sources for Genealogy

Derek Neilson worked as a Compliance Manager until 2009. He then completed the 3-year certificate course on genealogy at University College Dublin, his final assignment being on the Synge Family in Ireland between 1621 and 1909. He has also been secretary of his local history society and recorded interviews on folklore.

I shall loiter with intent at the main entrance until about 12.55. I have long dark hair, dark glasses, and answer to 'Jennifer?'. Give me a shout on[masked] if you're not sure.

Good information from Derek, as with other presentations in this series, you alway pick up different methods of finding out information.

My apologies, I cannot make it to my own meetup, which is ridiculous, but anyway. Have a good time, and I'll see some of you at other things. Have fun!
