Here it is, the last of the Thursday evening bootcamps for 2013... sniffle...
If you haven't tried my bootcamps forget your preconceptions, I don't scream in your face, or intimidate, or chase you with a stick around the park (tempting as that would be!), you work at a level that is right for you, not beyond you. It doesn't matter how strong you are, it doesn't matter how many of the exercises you can complete, it's not a competition, it's about you taking some action to improve your health alongside like-minded individuals. So get off your sofa and feel good in the knowledge you have already completed the hardest part.

Most people attend a bootcamp to either lose fat or tone up muscle, or both. Our routines are designed to do all by combining strength training along with HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). This kind of training has been shown to elevate your metabolism for up to 38 hours after you are done. That means that even after you stop exercising you are still burning calories. However, with cardio, the calorie burn stops as soon as you are done with the exercise.
Just to remind you all, the class is €5 pay as you go. Please bring is flat-soled runners, water, a towel and a good attitude.
We start at 7pm so be there on time, we will meet beside the park bench at the crossroads beside the fort and at 7pm we move to the top of the hill to start the bootcamp. If the weather is bad, please check on here one hour before bootcamp, light rain is still an acceptable condition.
If you have to cancel your place please give at least 6 hours notice from time of bootcamp, to give others on the waiting list a chance of taking your place.
