Dragonboat Paddle

Time to get back on the boat! Paddlers, are you ready?

Details are as follows:

Meeting at Surfdock, Grand Canal Dock at 10.45am (slightly later than previously, hoping to get onto the water by 11.00)
Buoyancy aids and paddles are provided but please dress appropriately for water and weather (plenty of layers to protect against the cold, hats and gloves are always handy to have. Jeans are not appropriate and will not keep you warm so go for training/tracksuit bottoms instead. Waterproof is ideal.)
We should be off the water and have the boats loaded by 12pm.

As per usual, everyone will be asked to donate 5euro to the Plurabelle Paddlers for the use of their equipment.

Unfortunately we don't have restroom facilities but there is a safe lock up to leave belongings.

After the water session, we will go for coffee & something to eat. It's a nice way for newbies to get to know the team and what we're all about.

See you Saturday!

Great fun, really enjoyed it! Cheers! p.s. I left blue/grey neck gaiter in the boat, if someone comes across it could they please keep it and give it to me next Saturday?

Hi Stefanos, you're neck gaiter is in the equipment container. I picked it up from the dock and left it inside so it will be there for you next Saturday. L

I really enjoyed it. It's like a 'military training'. It's fairly well organized and structured. Everybody took it seriously, aiming at high speed and good team work
