Dragonboat Paddle

Paddlers, are you ready?

Details are as follows:

Meeting at Surfdock, Grand Canal Dock at 10.45am SHARP to be on the water at 11.00
Buoyancy aids and paddles are provided but please dress appropriately for water and weather (hats and gloves are always handy to have. Jeans are not appropriate and will not keep you drywarm so go for training/tracksuit bottoms instead. Waterproof is ideal.) Don't forget to bring your water in this beautiful weather!
We should be off the water and have the boats loaded by 12.15

As per usual, everyone will be asked to donate 5euro to the Plurabelle Paddlers for the use of their equipment.

Unfortunately we don't have restroom facilities but there is a safe lock up to leave belongings. Please be aware that there are no parking facilities at Surf Dock, but there is some on-street parking in nearby Irishtown.

After the water session, we will go for coffee & something to eat. It's a nice way for newbies to get to know the team and what we're all about.

See you Saturday!

Hi guys! Great to see we have a full boat for training! As there are more than 22 signed up, please keep your RSVP updated in case you can't make it and could give someone else a slot in the boat! Thanks!

Sorry - I won't make it this week - don't get too good without me!! I have to go to a wedding - the bride broke her leg in two places on Monday! See you next week.
